ACon TT Finished... Well, close enough anyway.

Segment complete.  I'm not certain if I ever said why I had originally started this army; but it was for the Adepticon Team Tournament in 2013.  As of this even the 1,200 point force is complete and pictured below.  Minus the unit of Pegasus Knights this is also my 1,000 point How You Use It list.  All I have to do is slap together a display board/tray for the 1k event (My teammate built the TT board) and I'll be raring to go.

Bretonnian Distraction - Rat Ogres

I've been sitting on these guys for ages and I finally got a reason to finish them up recently.  Namely that I hate painting Knights and I've been working on the Bretonnian's and I hate them.  You can see from the pictures that 7 of the 8 Ogres are all made from the Island of Blood models just with some variation in poses, pieces, etc...  I don't understand why GW didn't make some new plastic kits for these guys when they re-released all the other Skaven models, but who knows.  So these are them.  Hopefully you guys all think they look good.  The 1 Rat Ogre that isn't IoB is the bell ringer from the Screaming Bell with a flail I built him.  I dig it.

Tower of Sorcery

The new sorceress towers that are due out late in November. Look really good, the top two of the picture by the way. It's the same model, but the one on the left apparently is an option of how to put it together. $66 USD.

8th Edition Isle of Blood Starter Set

Well the GW newsletter announced that the box will come out in Sept. and also that the mini rulebook would indeed be in it (fantastic considering the superfluous information contained in the big book). Also they all but confirmed the races as they attached the following picture:

Interesting notes; the new templates look pretty boss; apparently there going to put out a magic deck. This either indicates back to random drawing of cards for spells or that there just going to make a handy dandy deck of cards for reference; kind of neat. Markers and Dice seem to look okay; the engineers measuring set doesn't make sense to me; but I'm sure once we figure out the new war machine rules it will. Anyway; kind of neat to see this. No work as to whether this will be sold as a special Splash release or not; but since they did it for 7th ed. and 5th ed. 40K I imagine it will be.

Gamesday 2010 Special Ed. Model

So while keeping in mind that GW has officially announced that there will only be a Baltimore Gamesday next year they have released the picture of the special model for it. A Chaos Sorcerer. Oooh yay... I'm unimpressed and displeased in so many ways. It'd be nice if one year they would do something other than Chaos.

Some New Stuff

Had these photos a while back; but just never got around to posting them. :( The new Temple of Skulls scenery from GW and the new Empire Battalion which has had its format changed. While it once contained 8 Knights, 10 Handgunners/Crossbowmen, 10 State Troops, Cannon/Mortar and 5 Pistoleers it will now contain 8 Knights, 20 State Troops, 10 Handgunners/Crossbowmen and 10 Greatswords.

Lizard Pics

Got some more Lizardmen pictures from warseer. Steg sprue's I believe; the steg without paint and some painted Temple Guard. If you look to the left of the painted Kroxigor you can see a good pic of the new razordon model. Looks pretty mean.
