Hello everybody! This is my first attempt at video podcasting. I should say that I am definatly off to a rocky start. I can't seem to find a program that will convert my .wmv files into MP4 files that are compatiable with I-Tunes. In the Video I mention having planned to go to YouTube and host from their; but found out that my video was over their limit on length. :( So batting 0 and 2 I went for flash player. The video is a flash video and will be hosted here on the blog. Since it's posted to my RSS feed you should still be able to download it via I-Tunes and since most every computer on the planet can run flash video on their respective web browsers you should be able to watch it or easilly find an application that can play it.

I answer a couple e-mails about Dwarf's and the show itself before moving onto news of the most recent things. Avatar of War has finished their new model the Warrior Priest and has it available for purchase now I do believe. Bell of Lost Souls announced rumors of Skaven 3rd Quarter and Chaos Dwarfs possibly becoming an all Forge-World army. Blood Bowl the PC game is slated for a June 29th release after the beta has now ended. A thread on DakkaDakka discusses the price increase in US dollars.

I've also recieved en e-mail from Mike Marko reguarding Marauders Mayhem in Dayton, OH containing more pertinant information about registering such as actual dates. I also have some more information on the Core Competency tournament run by Alex Gonzalez in Downers Grove, Illinois. I did not recieve this information until after the video was done so it is not mentinoed during the movie but here on the blog.

Episode 16 on Hold

Hello everyone!
Just dropping a line to let you know that Episode 16 is on hold currently. I've been working on the first video podcast for the show and have had a number of setbacks. Most important of them is that my service space has dried up for the month :( So it may be another week before I get a chance to figure it all out. I just wanted to make people aware of what was going on for those of you who were looking and waiting for a new show.

Thanks,
Joe

Hello everybody! This episode is the coverage I got from the Indy GT Midwest Rampage in Bloomington, Illinois. This marks the tournaments 4th year and is run my Mr. Jim Emerick a fantastic hobbyist and wonderful event organizer. I took my Dwarfs to the tournament and went 3-0-2 which is an acceptable outcome for me considering never having played the Dwarfs at 2250 level yet. I have multiple interviews with tons of people; both friends, strangers and other event organizers. As the terrible part I forgot my camera at home. Total failure!

Chuck & I kick off the coverage with the friday night before the tournament technically starts and before the end of the night I sit for a little bit with a fellow Bugmans Brewer David Long from who traveled all the way up from Texas.

Day 1 sees me speaking with Jim Livers and Chuck; later to speak with Alex Gonzalez who is running the Indy GT "Core Competency" this fall/thanksgiving season in Downers Grove, Illinois. I sit down with some friends of the show and some strangers, Jeem Allen, Paul Vinton, Sean Spillsbury and Josh Holtz to discuss what they think of the tournament so far. By the end of the night I have a couple of friends Dave King and John Feipel sitting with me in our happilly buzzed stupor discussing the end of the days events.

Day 2 has me and Chuck in way to early to accomplish anything useful. I am joined after the tournament has ended and scores are being tallied again by Jim Livers to plug his Indy GT in Lexingtin, KY aptly named JimCon! and also Mike Marko who runs the Marauder Mayhem in Dayton, OH. Finally I am joined a last time by Chuck and Paul to talk about how the tournament ended and at the very bitter end Jim Emerick himself to discuss how the tournament went overall and announce winners.
