when playing warbands, you actually you don't have to worry about hell pit abominations and hydras, as no single model can cost over 150 points

thanx for feeding the link to those warband rules, they seems to be an awesome way of gaming.
I have a mordheim book laying around, but explaning all the rules is a bit of a labour of frustration.

These rules actually work with the regular warhammer rulebook... .
so thanks again and keep up the good work.

war-bands is a great way to get a game in while your still building an army .you don't have to worry about painting up 1500pts of models .so i think its a great idea for stores to run a little war-bands tourney to get the newer guys in and playing .
